Acupuncture

Before the Treatment
During your first consultation, you will be asked about your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. I may also examine your pulse, tongue, and posture to get a comprehensive understanding of your condition. This assessment helps determine which acupuncture points should be stimulated.

During the Session
I use very thin, sterile, single-use needles, which are gently inserted into specific acupuncture points on the body. Most people feel only a mild sensation or no pain at all. You may experience slight pressure, warmth, or tingling around the insertion points. The needles typically remain in place for 30–45 minutes, depending on your treatment plan. You can relax with soft music if you like. In some cases, I may stimulate the needles by gently rotating them, applying heat, or using a mild electric current (electroacupuncture) to enhance the effect.

After the Treatment
When the session is complete, the needles are carefully removed—this is usually painless. Many people feel deeply relaxed or energized afterward, while others may experience mild fatigue. The effects vary depending on individual needs and health conditions. Typically, at least three sessions are needed before noticeable results can be achieved.
