Many people live with:

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Digestive problems

  • Frequent infections and fatigue

  • Stress, worries, racing thoughts

  • Restlessness and anxiety

  • Feelings of inadequacy, sadness, and grief

  • Pain, tension, and headaches

Acupuncture is recommended for all aspects. The optimal approach and foundation of acupuncture treatment is to help eliminate the root causes of your discomfort. In other contexts, the focus may at times be on symptom relief.

Cancer treatment, symptom relief, and optimization.
Palliative care—relief in a severe illness process for both the patient and relatives—is my specialty. Based on my understanding of both Chinese and Western medicine, I aim and hope to contribute to improving quality of life in long and complex disease courses and rehabilitation.

I work with both children and adults—with and without needles. My advanced training in Japanese pediatric acupuncture, called Shonishin, is a unique, specialized, gentle, painless, and child-friendly treatment method. For older children, and where it is deemed beneficial and possible, I use particularly thin acupuncture needles.

MAY-BRITT HOLM

As both a nurse and an acupuncturist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I work to combine the best of both worlds at a
high professional level, for the benefit and well-being of both children and adults. The treatment is based on your
individual needs, with the goal of optimizing, creating balance, and improving your quality of life. In short, helping you
feel better. Challenges in life are handled differently and manifest in many ways.
