Auriculogy / ear acupuncture

Auriculotherapy is a microsystem where the entire body is represented in the outer portion of the ear. Ailments of the entire body are treated by stimulating the surface of the ear. Auriculotherapy was developed in the fifties by the french neurologist Paul Nogier.

In order to locate the point in the ear I use a pointlocator that sends an electrical impulse to the ear. I can alsp use l VAS pulse which is a distinct change in the amplitude of the pulse.

I use small sterile acupuncture needles that are taken out after the treatment or ASP needles that stay in the ear for one or two weeks after treatment for greater stimulation.
