Moxibustion

The heat from a cigar made of mugwort herb is used therapeutically to stimulate acupuncture points, muscles and joints.

Moxibustion has  played an important role in the traditional medical systems of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Tibet and Mongolia for thousands of years.

The end of the moxastick is lit and placed a couple of centimeters away from your skin in order to heat a particular point or an entire area.

Not only can moxa be used to move Qi and blood, to help cold and dampness, stop bleeding, it can also serve to turn breech babies.

Moxibustion is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
